# Optimus League ## User Agreement and Official Rules **Last Updated: August 11, 2026** ### 1. About Optimus League Optimus League is a free-to-use football prediction platform created for football enthusiasts to test their knowledge, compete with other users, participate in official Optimus League tournaments, and create their own prediction tournaments. Optimus League is an independent, fan-made platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to FIFA, UEFA, any national football association, football league, football club, or other football organization unless expressly stated otherwise. Optimus League is free to use. No purchase or payment is required to create an account or participate in tournaments. --- ### 2. Acceptance of the User Agreement By accessing, registering for, or using Optimus League, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement and any additional rules or conditions that apply to specific tournaments or features of the platform. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not create an account or use Optimus League. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and understood this User Agreement and agree to comply with it. Your use of Optimus League is also subject to the **Optimus League Privacy Policy**, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. By creating an account, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy. --- ### 3. Eligibility Optimus League is available to users from any country, subject to applicable laws and regulations. You must be at least **18 years old** to create an account or participate in Optimus League. If the legal age required to use this type of service in your country is higher than 18, you must meet the higher applicable age requirement. By creating an account or participating in Optimus League, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement and are legally permitted to use the platform in your country. If Optimus League discovers or reasonably believes that a user does not meet the applicable age requirement, we may temporarily suspend or permanently delete the account. --- ### 4. Creating an Account An account is required to participate in Optimus League tournaments. When creating an account, you must provide accurate and truthful information. You must not provide false information, impersonate another person, or create an account on behalf of another person without their permission. Each person may have **only one Optimus League account**. Creating or using multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage, avoiding a suspension or ban, manipulating tournament results, or otherwise violating these Terms is prohibited. Users may change their username through the available account settings. However, usernames must comply with these Terms and must not be misleading, offensive, unlawful, or intended to impersonate another person, organization, or brand. You are responsible for keeping your account login information secure and for all activity carried out through your account. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, rented, shared, or otherwise made available to another person. If you believe that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account, you should contact Optimus League as soon as possible. --- ### 5. Free-to-Play and No Gambling Optimus League is a free-to-play football prediction platform. Participation in Optimus League tournaments will always be free. No purchase, payment, subscription, entry fee, wager, stake, or other financial contribution is required to create an account or participate in any Optimus League tournament. Optimus League does not provide sports betting, bookmaking, casino games, or other real-money wagering services. Users do not place financial bets or risk money based on the outcome of football matches. Tournament results are determined according to the prediction and scoring rules applicable to each tournament. Users participate by making football predictions and earning points based on the applicable scoring system. Prizes may be offered in selected Optimus League tournaments. Participation in a tournament does not require users to make a payment or provide anything of monetary value in order to be eligible for a prize. Optimus League may introduce additional services or features in the future, including features that may involve payment, provided that such features do not require payment to participate in Optimus League tournaments. --- ### 6. Tournaments and Predictions Optimus League allows users to participate in football prediction tournaments by submitting predictions for the matches and other prediction questions included in each tournament. Depending on the tournament, users may be required to predict **all matches and any additional prediction or "Joker" questions** included in the tournament. Predictions entered by a user are automatically saved by the system. This allows users to complete their predictions over multiple sessions and return at a later time before the applicable lock time. Users may manually submit their completed predictions before the tournament begins. Once a user manually submits their predictions, the submission is final and cannot be modified or withdrawn. If a user does not manually submit their completed predictions, the system will automatically lock the user's saved predictions when the **first match of the relevant tournament begins**. At that point, all predictions for that tournament, including predictions for matches that have not yet started and any Joker questions, become final and cannot be modified. Users are responsible for ensuring that their predictions are complete and accurate before manually submitting them or before the automatic lock time. Each tournament may have its own specific rules, scoring system, prediction requirements, deadlines, Joker questions, match schedule, and other conditions. These tournament-specific rules form part of the applicable terms for that tournament. Optimus League is not responsible for a user's failure to complete or submit predictions before the applicable lock time, including where the user experiences problems with their device, internet connection, or other circumstances outside Optimus League's reasonable control. --- ### 7. Scoring, Results and Third-Party Data Tournament scores and leaderboard positions are calculated by the Optimus League system according to the scoring rules applicable to each tournament. The prediction format may differ between tournaments depending on the real-life football competition being represented. Users may be required to predict full-time scores, match winners, qualification or advancement, or answer additional prediction questions such as Joker questions. The applicable tournament rules will specify how predictions are scored and how points are awarded. Optimus League may use third-party data providers and external sources for information such as match schedules, kick-off times, results, scores, team names, player information, statistics, and other football-related data. While Optimus League makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and timely information, we cannot guarantee that third-party data will always be accurate, complete, current, or free from errors. Match schedules, kick-off times, results, and other football information may change due to postponements, cancellations, suspensions, abandoned matches, official corrections, technical errors, or other circumstances. If a match is postponed, suspended, rescheduled, or otherwise affected but is subsequently played as part of the relevant real-life competition, Optimus League may use the official result of that match for scoring. If a match is cancelled, abandoned, or otherwise cannot be completed within a reasonable period, Optimus League may determine how the affected prediction should be treated based on the circumstances and the applicable tournament rules. Optimus League may make reasonable adjustments to scoring, leaderboards, or tournament results where necessary to correct technical errors, data errors, cheating, fraud, or other circumstances that could affect the integrity or fairness of a tournament. Final tournament results and leaderboard standings will generally be considered final once a tournament has been completed, subject to necessary corrections in the circumstances described above. --- ### 8. Prizes and Winner Verification Selected Optimus League tournaments may offer prizes to eligible participants. The prizes and the number of winners will be specified in the applicable tournament information. Winners are determined according to the applicable tournament scoring rules and final leaderboard results. Before a prize is awarded, Optimus League may contact a winner by email to verify the winner's eligibility and identity. The winner may be required to provide information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify their age and identity, such as a passport, identity card, or driving licence. Where necessary for prize delivery, the winner may also be asked to provide an address and contact information. Prize verification and delivery information is requested **separately by email and is not collected through the Optimus League application as part of the normal account registration process**. Information provided specifically for prize verification and delivery will be used only for verifying eligibility and delivering the prize. This information will be deleted after the prize has been successfully delivered, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. A winner must respond to the prize notification within **7 days** of the initial notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, Optimus League may select the next eligible participant or otherwise determine how the prize will be handled in accordance with the applicable tournament rules. Optimus League may disqualify a winner or award the prize to another eligible participant if the winner cannot reasonably verify their eligibility, provides false or fraudulent information, fails to respond within the applicable period, or otherwise fails to comply with the tournament rules. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated for a particular tournament. If an advertised prize becomes unavailable, Optimus League may provide a replacement prize of equal or comparable value where reasonably possible. Winners are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, import charges, or other costs that may legally arise from receiving a prize in their country, unless Optimus League expressly states otherwise. Optimus League does not guarantee that a particular prize will be available in every country. Prize delivery may be subject to applicable shipping restrictions and other practical limitations. --- ### 9. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct Optimus League is intended to provide a fair and enjoyable environment for all participants. Users must participate honestly and must not attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other participants. Users must not: * create or use more than one Optimus League account; * use another person's account or allow another person to use their account; * use bots, scripts, automated systems, or other tools to interact with Optimus League in an unauthorized manner; * manipulate, interfere with, or attempt to manipulate tournament results, scores, rankings, or leaderboards; * exploit bugs, errors, vulnerabilities, or unintended features of the platform to gain an advantage; * attempt to access, modify, or interfere with another user's account or data; * use unauthorized methods to access, copy, scrape, collect, or extract data from Optimus League; * collude with other users or coordinate actions for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage; * impersonate another user, Optimus League representative, or any other person or organization; * submit false or fraudulent information, including information provided during prize verification; * engage in abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise seriously inappropriate behavior toward other users or Optimus League staff; * use Optimus League to distribute malware, harmful code, spam, or other material intended to interfere with the platform or harm other users; * attempt to bypass a suspension, ban, security measure, or other restriction imposed by Optimus League; * use Optimus League for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates applicable law; or * engage in any other conduct that reasonably undermines the fairness, security, integrity, or proper operation of Optimus League. Users who discover a significant bug, vulnerability, or other security issue should report it to Optimus League rather than intentionally exploiting it. **Attempts to engage in prohibited conduct are also violations of these Terms, regardless of whether the attempt is successful.** --- ### 10. Suspensions, Disqualification and Account Termination Optimus League may take action when it reasonably believes that a user has violated this User Agreement, tournament rules, or applicable law. Depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation, Optimus League may: * issue a warning; * temporarily suspend the user's account; * disqualify the user from a tournament; * remove or invalidate predictions, scores, rankings, or tournament results affected by a violation; * withhold or cancel a prize; or * permanently terminate the user's account. **Temporary suspension will generally be used for rule violations before permanent termination.** However, Optimus League may permanently terminate an account immediately in cases involving serious misconduct, fraud, deliberate manipulation of tournaments, significant security violations, repeated violations, or other conduct that seriously threatens the integrity or safety of the platform or its users. A user whose account has been permanently terminated may not create or use another Optimus League account without the express permission of Optimus League. If an account is suspended or terminated, Optimus League may also take reasonable measures to prevent the user from circumventing the suspension or termination. Where a user's violation affects the fairness or integrity of a tournament, Optimus League may disqualify the user and adjust the relevant leaderboard or tournament results. Optimus League will make reasonable efforts to apply these measures consistently, but the specific action taken may depend on the circumstances and seriousness of the violation. Nothing in this section limits any rights that users may have under applicable law. --- ### 11. User-Created Tournaments and User Content Optimus League may allow users to create and manage their own prediction tournaments and submit content such as tournament names, descriptions, images, or other materials. Users are responsible for the content they create, upload, or publish through Optimus League. Users may delete tournaments they have created, subject to any technical limitations of the platform. Users must ensure that their content: * complies with these Terms and applicable law; * does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of another person or organization; * does not contain malware or other harmful material; * does not contain threats, harassment, hateful or discriminatory content; * does not falsely suggest that the tournament or content is officially sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Optimus League, a football club, league, federation, brand, or other organization; * does not promote illegal activities, fraud, or real-money gambling; and * does not otherwise threaten the safety, integrity, or proper operation of Optimus League. Users must not create tournaments or content designed to mislead other users about the identity, ownership, sponsorship, or official status of a tournament. By submitting content to Optimus League, the user retains ownership of any intellectual property rights they have in that content. However, the user grants Optimus League a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the Optimus League platform and the tournaments created through it. Optimus League may remove, restrict, edit, or disable access to user-created content or tournaments that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, or that could reasonably harm the integrity or operation of the platform. Optimus League may also suspend or terminate the account of a user who repeatedly or seriously violates these rules. --- ### 12. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Trademarks The Optimus League name, logo, website, application, software, design, graphics, text, features, and other materials created or provided by Optimus League are owned by or licensed to Optimus League, unless otherwise stated. Users may use the **official Optimus League name and logo in their original form** for legitimate, non-commercial purposes related to participating in, discussing, sharing, or promoting Optimus League and user-created Optimus League tournaments. Users may not modify, alter, distort, recreate, or otherwise change the Optimus League name, logo, or branding. Users may not use the Optimus League name, logo, branding, or other Optimus League materials: * to sell products or services or otherwise generate revenue without permission from Optimus League; * in advertisements or promotional material that falsely suggests that Optimus League sponsors, endorses, or officially supports a person, company, product, service, tournament, or other activity; * to impersonate Optimus League or represent themselves as an official representative of Optimus League without permission; * in a way that could reasonably mislead users about an official relationship with Optimus League; or * to damage the reputation or integrity of Optimus League. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit Optimus League's software, design, graphics, or other proprietary materials without permission, except where such activity is permitted by applicable law. Team names, club names, club crests, league names, league logos, competition marks, and other third-party trademarks or identifying materials displayed through Optimus League belong to their respective owners. Optimus League does not claim ownership of these third-party materials. Where third-party names, trademarks, logos, or other identifying materials are displayed, they are used for identification, informational, or functional purposes. Their display does not imply that Optimus League is affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected to the relevant rights holder. Optimus League is an independent, fan-made platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to FIFA, UEFA, national football associations, football leagues, football clubs, or other third-party organizations unless expressly stated otherwise. If a rights holder or authorized representative believes that content displayed on Optimus League infringes their intellectual property rights, they may contact Optimus League at info@optimusleague.com. Optimus League may review the matter and take appropriate action where necessary. --- ### 13. Platform Availability and Third-Party Services Optimus League is provided on an "as available" basis. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the platform operational, we do not guarantee that Optimus League will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or technical problems. The operation of Optimus League may depend on third-party services and infrastructure, including hosting providers, email delivery services, football data providers, internet service providers, and other technical services. Problems or interruptions affecting these services may also affect the availability or functionality of Optimus League. Optimus League may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the platform or particular features for maintenance, updates, security reasons, technical problems, legal requirements, or other operational reasons. Optimus League is not responsible for interruptions, delays, errors, or loss of functionality caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including third-party service failures, internet or network problems, hosting outages, cyberattacks, natural events, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control. We may modify, replace, add, or remove features of Optimus League from time to time in order to maintain, improve, or develop the platform. Optimus League may also discontinue particular features, services, or tournaments when reasonably necessary. Where appropriate, we will provide users with reasonable notice. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that users may have under applicable law. --- ### 14. Privacy and Personal Data Optimus League collects and processes personal data in connection with the operation of the platform, account management, tournament participation, fair-play measures, communication with users, and prize administration. The types of personal data collected, the purposes and legal bases for processing, data retention periods, user rights, and other information concerning personal data are explained in the **Optimus League Privacy Policy**. By using Optimus League, users acknowledge that their personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. The Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing the use of Optimus League. If there is a conflict between this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy concerning the processing of personal data, the Privacy Policy will apply to that specific matter. --- ### 15. Changes to Optimus League Optimus League may update, modify, improve, or change the platform, its features, tournament formats, scoring systems, or other aspects of the service from time to time. We may add new features, remove existing features, or make changes that are reasonably necessary to improve the platform, maintain security, comply with applicable law, or operate Optimus League. The main rules, scoring system, prediction requirements, and other conditions of a tournament will generally be **locked once the tournament has started**. Users will be able to participate based on the rules that were applicable when the tournament started. If Optimus League discovers a genuine error, technical mistake, incorrect rule, or other issue in the tournament rules that could affect the fairness, accuracy, or proper operation of the tournament, Optimus League may correct or modify the affected rule where reasonably necessary. Where a correction is made to an ongoing tournament, Optimus League will make reasonable efforts to inform affected users and apply the correction fairly and consistently. Optimus League may suspend or discontinue a feature, tournament, or part of the platform where reasonably necessary. Where appropriate, we will provide users with reasonable notice. Nothing in this section gives Optimus League the right to arbitrarily change the rules of a tournament after it has started for the purpose of changing the outcome or unfairly disadvantaging participants. --- ### 16. Changes to the User Agreement Optimus League may update this User Agreement from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, new features or services, changes in applicable laws, or other operational or legal requirements. The most current version of the User Agreement will be made available through Optimus League. The date of the latest update may be displayed at the beginning or end of the User Agreement. If we make material changes that significantly affect users' rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before the changes take effect. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, continued use of Optimus League after the updated User Agreement becomes effective means that you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to an updated User Agreement, you should stop using Optimus League and may delete your account. --- ### 17. Limitation of Liability Optimus League is provided on an **"as available" and "as is" basis**, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We make reasonable efforts to keep Optimus League functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or free from errors. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Optimus League and the persons responsible for operating the platform will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from or related to the use of Optimus League. This may include losses resulting from temporary or permanent platform interruptions, technical errors, incorrect or delayed third-party football data, internet or network failures, hosting or service-provider outages, loss of access to an account, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Optimus League is not responsible for losses arising from a user's failure to follow the applicable tournament rules, failure to submit predictions before the applicable deadline, misuse of the platform, or unauthorized access to an account caused by the user's own failure to protect their account credentials. Nothing in this User Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or any other liability that applicable law requires us to retain. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights or protections that users may have under the laws applicable to them. --- ### 18. Governing Law and Disputes This User Agreement and the use of Optimus League are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the **Republic of Estonia**, except where mandatory provisions of another jurisdiction's law apply. If a dispute arises between a user and Optimus League, we encourage the parties to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting Optimus League at info@optimusleague.com. Nothing in this User Agreement prevents a user from exercising any mandatory legal rights available to them under the laws applicable to them. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court with appropriate jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection rights or other legal protections that cannot be waived under applicable law. --- ### 19. Account Deletion and Termination by the User Users may delete their Optimus League account at any time through the available account settings or by contacting Optimus League. When an account is deleted, the account and associated user information will be deleted from the Optimus League system, subject to any information that Optimus League is legally required to retain. Deleting an account will also result in the removal of the user's tournament history, predictions, scores, leaderboard results, trophies, and other information associated with the account, subject to any information that must be retained by law. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Optimus League will not be able to restore a deleted account or its associated tournament history, predictions, scores, or trophies. If a user has won a prize but has not yet completed the prize verification or delivery process, deleting the account may prevent Optimus League from completing the prize process. Users should contact Optimus League before deleting an account if they have an outstanding prize claim. Users may stop using Optimus League at any time without deleting their account, but an inactive account will remain subject to this User Agreement until it is deleted or otherwise terminated. --- ### 20. Contact and Legal Information Optimus League is an independent, fan-made football prediction platform jointly operated by **Kaupo Mägi and Mikk Kuusk**. The operators are jointly responsible for the operation and administration of Optimus League. For questions, support requests, privacy matters, legal notices, or other inquiries relating to Optimus League, users may contact us at: **Email:** info@optimusleague.com **Country of operation:** Estonia Privacy and data protection requests may also be submitted to the same email address. Kaupo Mägi is the primary contact for responding to user and privacy requests on behalf of the operators. --- ### 21. Severability If any provision of this User Agreement is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority or court, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, where legally permitted. If the provision cannot be made valid or enforceable, it will be treated as removed from this User Agreement, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. --- ### 22. Entire Agreement and No Waiver This User Agreement, together with the Optimus League Privacy Policy and any applicable tournament-specific rules, constitutes the agreement between the user and Optimus League regarding the use of the platform and participation in its tournaments. If there is a conflict between this User Agreement and specific tournament rules, the tournament-specific rules will apply to the relevant tournament, provided that they do not conflict with mandatory applicable law. If Optimus League does not immediately enforce a provision of this User Agreement, this does not mean that Optimus League has permanently waived its right to enforce that provision in the future. No failure or delay by Optimus League in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms will constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. --- ### 23. Final Provisions and Effective Date This User Agreement takes effect on the date stated as the **"Last Updated"** date shown with the Agreement. By creating an account or continuing to use Optimus League after the effective date, users acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review the current version of this User Agreement and agree to be bound by it, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
